This briefing followed the publication of the Annual Education Workforce Statistics 2023.
Presenters, David Browne (Head of Regulation, EWC) and Nia Griffith (Data Manager), provided attendees with an overview of the stats, with a particular focus on the key trends identified. For the first time in 2023, this included workforce retention.
The event contained data from the EWC Register of Education Practitioners and provided valuable insights into the make-up of the education workforce such as age, ethnicity, gender, and qualifications.
Following the main presentation, attendees were given the option to ask the presenters questions on the data presented and how it can drive future workforce planning.
