Executive Officer, Fitness to Practise (fixed term – 12 months)
£28,245-£32,141 per annum pro rata plus benefits
The Education Workforce Council (EWC) is the independent, professional regulator for the education workforce in Wales.
Working within the Fitness to Practise team, the Executive Officer will provide administrative and executive support in the exercise of the EWC’s regulatory functions. This will include convening and facilitating meetings and hearings. The Executive Officer will also be required to assist colleagues in undertaking casework and gathering relevant information.
With experience carrying out an administrative role in a busy environment, the successful candidate will also have experience in organising meetings and making related arrangements. They will have excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail and an ability to work on their own initiative, as well as first-rate communication and interpersonal skills. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential to the post.
