As a newly qualified teacher (NQT) you need to complete and maintain your induction profile online via the Professional Learning Passport (PLP). You are responsible for maintaining your Induction Profile and for identifying and recording evidence of how you meet the professional standards for teaching and leadership through your professional practice.

Please note that the online induction profile is only available to NQTs who started induction from September 2014.

Accessing the Online induction profile

You will only have access to your induction profile after we have received and processed the relevant induction notification form. If you are doing induction via day to day supply work you must have also logged your first short term supply session with us before your online induction profile will become visible.

NQTs are required to create their own MyEWC account. When you log in for the first time you must create an online account. Select register for web access, and enter the required information. Make sure you log into your account in the language (Welsh or English) that you wish to complete your induction profile.

We will create accounts for induction mentors (IMs) after processing the induction notification form.

To support you in using the induction profile, we have developed guides on how NQTs, IMs and external verifiers complete each step of the induction profile. Within the guides you will also find a range of short videos.
