As the independent national regulator for the education workforce in Wales, we have over 80,000 registrants, covering teachers and learning support staff in school and further education settings, qualified youth and youth support workers and work-based learning practitioners.
Our Register of education practitioners in Wales (the Register), holds extensive information and data about the education workforce in Wales, which we use to play a leading role in developing evidence based education research and policy.
We also carry out and commission research and analysis, and support practitioners who may be thinking of undertaking their own, close-to-practice research.
