To ensure trainees and newly qualified practitioners fully understand what they need to do in order to work in Wales or another country, we deliver sessions at each training institution. These sessions:
- provide an introduction to the EWC and its role in the education sector in Wales
- explore why registration with the EWC is a legal requirement for education practitioners wishing to work in Wales
- explore fitness to practise, focusing on the expected behaviours of a registered practitioner as set out in the Code of Professional Conduct and Practice
- provide an opportunity for questions and answers.
