As a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) you are required to complete and maintain your Induction Profile online via the Professional Learning Passport (PLP). You are responsible for maintaining your Induction Profile and for identifying and recording evidence of how you meet the professional standards for teaching and leadership through your professional practice.

Please note that the online induction profile is only available to NQTs who commenced induction from September 2014 onwards.

Accessing the online Induction Profile

For you to have access to your Induction Profile, we must have received either the Induction Notification Form (for NQTs employed within schools), or the Short Term Supply Teacher Notification Form. You will only have access to your Induction Profile once we have received and processed the relevant form. If you are undertaking Induction via short term supply work you must have also logged your first short term supply session with us before your online Induction Profile will become visible.

NQTs are required to create their own ‘MyEWC’ account. If you are logging in for the first time you must create an online account. Select the option ‘Register for Web Access’ and enter the required information. If an error message is displayed it is often due to us holding an incorrect e-mail address. Make sure you log into your account in the language (Welsh or English) that you wish to complete your Induction Profile.

We will create accounts for Induction Mentors (IMs) upon receipt of the Induction Notification Form. An activation e-mail will be sent to the IMs e-mail address recorded on the Notification Form. The e-mail will contain the username and a link to create a password. IMs will log into their account using the Induction Mentor login screen. Please note the activation email is only valid for 48 hours.
