Statutory induction for NQTs

The Welsh Government has published temporary guidance to support NQTs in Wales who will be concerned about the potential impact of school closures on the completion of their statutory induction.

NQTs are encouraged to continue to engage in professional learning activities, such as distance learning, online modules and research during the summer term. Details of activities undertaken should be recorded in the Professional Learning Experience template which is in the Induction Profile.

In addition, the Continuity of Teaching and Learning form should be used to record the hours spent undertaking professional learning and teaching during the summer term. To access the induction profile, please log in to your PLP.

Please e-mail completed Continuity of Teaching and Learning forms to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by the end of the summer term 2020.
