andy hargreavesThe Education Workforce Council (EWC) will hold its fourth Professionally Speaking event on Monday, 16 September 2019 in the Reardon Smith Theatre at National Museum Wales, Cardiff.

Following the success of last year's event, we are privileged to welcome esteemed educationalist Professor Andy Hargreaves as this year's guest speaker. His lecture will explore the topic of Equity, Identity and Inclusion: the next big challenge for educational change.

Andy is Visiting Professor at the University of Ottawa and Research Professor in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. An advocate for a strong teaching profession and positive educational change, Andy has been awarded several prestigious accolades.

Andy will be joined by Minister for Education, Kirsty Williams and both will be answering the audience's questions in a Q&A session hosted by BBC journalist, Catrin Haf Jones.

As well as a valuable networking opportunity, this event will be a great professional learning experience for any practitioner interested in current educational issues.

The event will be broadcast live in its entirety on our YouTube channel from 6:30pm on 16 September.

This event is now sold out. If you would like for your name to be put on the waiting list, please complete the form here.
